Distance Learning Playbook Book Study

SERF awarded a grant to SPS for multiple copies of the text “The Distance Learning Playbook” to be used during a professional development course for K-8 educators. These text books will support the opportunity to reflect and adapt teaching and learning practices for distance learning and enable knowledge sharing among the staff. Topics include student-teacher relationships, teacher credibility and clarity, instructional design and assessments and grading.

“This course is designed to help teachers think about practical ways to create meaningful lessons and build relationships with their students through a remote environment….[I am] looking forward to working with 40 of our amazing SPS educators for the next few months as we strive for engagement and impact in our new settings.”
